On entering house you will find a spacious entry hall with a visitor's bathroom to your left and be greeted by the lovely scent of the swiss stone pinewood open wardrobe to your right with coat hooks for 8 persons, a comfy bench for tackling your shoe laces, and a coat closet featuring a shelving section with large baskets, perfect for all your mittens, hats, etc.
Continuing on you will find an inviting, open kitchen with a bar facing the dining/living area. The kitchen is extremely well equipped for gourmet cooks with a steamer, oven, induction cooking field, dishwasher, cooking/ baking utensils, raclette oven, fondue service, kitchenaid mixer, and sharp Swiss knives. For the coffee machine, you need to bring Nespresso compatible capsules with you (these can also be bought at the Migros in Ilanz). Behind the kitchen, there is a pantry/laundry room with washer and dryer.
The large, open plan dining/living area is separated by a tunnel vision soapstone fireplace which will keep you toasty warm and can be enjoyed while dining as well as while relaxing on the sofa. A special feature of the fireplace is the built in bake oven where you can warm cherry stone bags, keep your tea hot, or actually slow bake some cinnammon apples. After a day outdoors, you'll be pleased to put the family's gloves on the warm soapstone to dry, or warm the kiddies pyjamas. As the soapstone fireplace is one of the main heat sources for the house, it needs to be fired once a day in winter. This only takes a few minutes and is a quite relaxing task. There is plenty of firewood right behind the house.
A signature feature of the chalet is the large, south facing wooden deck where you can enjoy panoramic mountain views, soak in the sun and the fresh mountain air. At night you will be astounded at the clarity of the stars in the sky.
Upstairs you will find 3 spacious bedrooms. The north facing bedroom offers a king size bed and a flat screen TV with hdmi connection availability. The southwest facing bedroom features a king size bed and a south facing balcony with a panoramic mountain view. The southeast children's bedroom has a triple bunk bed and a sleepsofa for 2 for a maximum total of 5 children. It accesses the same south balcony as the southwest bedroom.
The large bathroom with separate shower and tub, features a dry/steam sauna, perfect for relaxing after a day on the
In addition, there is a cozy sleeping loft for one additional person which can be accessed by a ladder in the hall.
Child friendly conveniences include a trip trap high chair, portable baby bed, all terrain stroller, Deuter backcarrier, child's potty and stepping stool. There is a kids play area stocked with toys such as legos, playmobile, lincoln logs, babydolls, and a wooden dollhouse/barn. Finally there is a kids library with picture books, comics, and plenty of DVDs.
The house has two flat screen TVs, one with a DVD player. Also there is a mini high-figh with CD player. There is no internet

There is a separate ski room next to the house where you will find plenty of space for all your equipment. You will also find two kids' bobsleds as well as one family sled at your disposal.
There are two outdoor parking spaces.
The mailman does not come up to the house, so if you have your mail redirected, it will be held at the post office in Vella and needs to be picked up there.
The outdoor barbeque pit can be used year round, offering rustic log seats and a breathtaking view. In the skiroom you will find a large biwak cooking pot just in case you'd like to have an outdoor fondue party or prepare a hot punch.
